Rubber

optimising performance

The rubber industry requirements are for non-stick and maintaining a clean mould for as long as possible whilst the unvulcanised rubber is being handled or processed.

Aalberts has a number of coatings that can be used depending upon which type of rubber is being handled or processed.

For example, unvulcanised rubber running across guide rolls will require a different coating to a silicon rubber being injection moulded.

The type of equipment we can coat includes feed hoppers, rolls, vibratory conveyors and moulds.

The industries we serve include tyre manufacturers (car, truck, forklift and motorcycle), medical component manufacturers, injection moulders, rubber glove moulders and gasket manufacturers.

Aalberts coatings can be used to provide non-stick, traction, low friction and self cleaning properties.

Please also note that we can PTFE coat onto rubber seals, gaskets, O rings and rolls. The rubber retains its flexibility and yet gains the low friction and solvent resistance of PTFE.

Tailor-made coating solutions for optimising performance.

Our client base includes many blue chip companies from a wide range of sectors.
